'Patriots' rally over Preah Vihear

Hundreds of members of the Thai Patriots Network rallied at the Royal Plaza on Monday morning, opposing the International Court of Justice's jurisdiction to make a ruling on the Thai-Cambodian dispute over Preah Vihear temple.

Chaiwat Sinsuwong, a leader of the rally, said the network had gathered up to 1.3 million names to back a petition rejecting the ICJ's jurisdiction over the issue.

The ICJ has accepted Cambodia's request to reinterpret its 1962 ruling, which awarded ownership of the temple to Cambodia but did not mention the disputed area immediately surrounding it.

"I dare to bet if the ruling is in favour of Thailand, Cambodia would accept it" How much are you willing to bet?

#1. Why Thai soldiers? if these people want to fight then take the Thai soldiers and civilians away from the area and give the "patriats" some weapons and let them go. Those that survive can face war crime charges by the cambodians for any lose of (any) cambodian lives for an unprovocked attack against international law and serve their time in a cambodian jail. . See how many will leave their safe bangkok houses to support their alleged patriticism when its them that have to risk death.

The Patriot Network is not patriotic. The ICJ has jurisdiction and Thailand needs to accept the ruling that the 4.6 kilometers that Preah Vihear sits on belongs to Cambodia.

Thai Patriots Network.....Interesting to see the PAD doing their thing.... Creating seemingly diverse groupings and titles through segmentation, when in effect they are often the same people. Overusing the term "Network, they try to create a sense of widespread participation. Some people call that "Smoke and Mirrors"

Why Thai Patriots Network is afraid of the ruling-Interpretation? it should be acceptable for both Cambodia and Thailand. If Thailand does not accept the ruling or does not accept a third party to to help, the problem will never be solved.

I dare to bet if the ruling is in favour of Thailand, Cambodia would accept it but if in favour of Cambodia, Thailand will use force!??

Let's see how many lives of poor soldiers and lives & properties of the people along the border lost when Thailand does not accept it.
