Veteran Pheu Thai MP collapses

Veteran Lop Buri MP Niyom Worapanya, 82, of the Pheu Thai Party, was rushed to Phayathai 2 Hospital for emergency treatment after he collapsed at parliament on Wednesday afternoon, reports said.

Parliament officials said Mr Niyom fell unconscious about 12.30pm and was taken to the parliament's first aid room for treatment.

Medical staff decided to send him to Phayathai 2 Hospital. He was later declared out of danger.
