PM readies cabinet rejig in coalition talks

A proposed cabinet reshuffle has been discussed among the coalition parties, Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra said yesterday.

The details of the new cabinet will be finalised after funeral rites finish for the late Chumpol Silpa-archa, who served as deputy prime minister and tourism and sports minister. Chumpol passed away from heart failure on Monday. His chanting ceremony will be held until next Thursday.

Ms Yingluck said the ruling Pheu Thai Party had yet to discuss the reshuffle.
