If the opinion polls _ putting Pheu Thai candidate Pongsapat Pongcharoen ahead of rival Democrat Party candidate MR Sukhumbhand Paribatra _ hold true, the credit may be due to Mr Phumtham, who is also the Pheu Thai secretary-general.
