We all have read here that people who vote for PT are uneducated farmers and that it won't get any votes in the capital, haven't we ?

The increasing popularity of Pongsapat for governorship Is significant. If Pongsapat indeed win, it would mean that the Bangkokians anger of the riots have subsided significantly but more importantly, it would mean that PT have the upper hand at next election for Bangkok. If the DP is not taking this seriously, it will be at their peril.

"A majority of the respondents said the news of a conflict between the government and the red-shirt United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD) over an amnesty law................................................. and the Preah Vihear temple dispute would have no effect on the March 3 Bangkok governor election"

These Polls erroneously purporting to be Public Opinion instead of "Opposition opinion", is demonstrated in above quote:1-Wishful thinking about conflict between Govt. and UDD/Red Shirts-What conflict? Discussions about options perhaps.....#2-What Preah Vihear temple dispute?- PAD shenanigans do not a "dispute" make.

Wow, now it is a 10 point lead for the PT candidate in the DP stronghold of BKK. Why? well no one knows, but in my opinion, it has more to do with the weakness of the DP candidate and not the strength of the PT candidate. Secondly the DP party is split and are not very strongly fighting for Sukhumbhand so that also helps the PT. The DP party has not had much success in elections for 20 years and have had to rely on coalitions but when the PT is so strong this is not working in their favor nowadays.
