Suriyasai eyes legal attack on PM

The Green Politics Group on Sunday revealed it was gathering evidence and examining if Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra violated the election law when she delivered speeches to help Pheu Thai's Bangkok governor candidate to woo votes.

Suriyasai Katasila, coordinator of the Green Politics group, said it was looking into whether Ms Yingluck broke the law when she tried to convince voters during the campaign that candidate No.9 Pol Gen Pongsapat Pongcharoen, would work with the government smoothly and effectively if he was elected the new governor.

Pol Gen Pongsapat’s campaign slogan is "working with the government seamlessly".

Go ahead to file your complaint. You know what it is like to file false accusation. PM has the constitutional right to support anyone. The government has the duty and responsibility to support anyone who publicly promised to work with them.

Can any of you nincompoops quote this "LAW" that has been broken? Since when has anyone no right to support a candidate because they hold a political office. Check out elections in the real world people!

for the people's sake, elected officials should work together to provide the best services to it's netizen regardless of team parties. I don't know how the Bangkokians would react on this issue, but for one, a leader whose prime intention is to serve should never say such words, as if she set a condition to the Bangkokians.

A true and sincere leader trait's is not what we are seeing now. We have yet to find one here.

Green Politics Group, Pitak Siam Group, Pads group, multi-color group, dems group...actually belong to the same anti-Thaksin group.

The main point here, is that it's shameless to suggest that Bangkok will only 'work' with the co-operation of the Govt, so the reverse logic is: vote in Sukumband and we won't support any of these initiatives. Some might say that's exactly what has been going on for the past two years. In which case, why bother having an independently elected Bangkok governor. Not sure if there is a legal case against her, but it's certainly wrong. And it's how the PT are operating here. Just like Thaksin threatening not to disperse national budget to areas that didn't vote for him.

I'm amazed that the Green Party is still around. Their supporters probably couldn't even field a soccer team.

Disc 9 - I think you missed the point. The Democrat Governor worked better with the Democrat led national government than he has with the PTP. It's not rocket science to deduce that a PTP Governor would have much more success with a national PTP government than a Democrat Governor. It's not illegal to tell anyone that, as it's a simple fact.

    Disc 5
Good luck with your "just say no" vote.
You are Thai right? So your vote will make a difference. Chok dee

Of course she broke the law. The master wants this man elected governor of Bangkok. All puppets must fall in line and do what the master orders.

From the Green Politics party, the one that won't run a candidate in any election, from the fear of knowing they have lost before the polls even open. That just about says it all.
