Bangkok EC: 'Big news' on March 20

The Bangkok election committee has forwarded two petitions against MR Sukhumbhand Paribatra, the Bangkok governor-elect, along with recommendations to the Election Commission, and the public can expect big headlines when the story breaks, panel chairman Pol Lt-Gen Taweesak Tuchinda said on Thursday.

Pol Lt-Gen Taweesak said he had forwarded the two petitions to the main election body for a final decision.

The petitions were accompanied by the Bangkok election committee's recommendations which could not be disclosed, he said, adding that he had never said MR Sukhumbhand would be issued a yellow card.

Or Pol Lt-General Taweesak Tuchinda will make his big announcement and nothing will happen because some things are better left alone. I can not see any way that PT will benefit by a re-election and it could surely damage them more.
Will these voters sit around and let their voted for candidate be maligned and jump on the PT bandwagon? I don't think so. Blowing him up will only increase the determination of those who do not one a single party country.
I feel an inactive post opening up for a Lt. General.

"15 million people also voted for PT and against the dems in 2011" Nearly 17 million people voted against PT and for other parties in 2011.

Disc 14 - Did you have lunch with Sonthi? Bangkok is not the center of the universe and everyone in the country pays VAT etc You need to realize that. Some outside Bangkok a lot more than you.

Android - relax, you got your rice scheme funded by Bangkok tax payers, you can afford a cheap car now as well with the same Bangkok residents helping to fund. The country is taking on massive debt. All your wishes have come true, so why the angst?

I doubt any of you Dem supporters anti corruption. It's all blamed on Thaksin. Is it so hard to believe there is corruption of many colors in Thailand. Showing support for corruption is the same as corruption. You all sound like babies crying over spilt milk. If the court finds them guilty they most likely are. The people spoke and the Dems won. I will accept that because I believe in Democracy. If Reds are conviced in court I will also accept that. The only way to stop corruption in not to accept it from anyone. No matter what color.

Disc 3 - "Should we now all be scared that the EC will dissolve the DEMs" No because the EC cannot dissolve anyone they could only send a recommendation to the Constitutional Court.

Disc 9 - The very worst that could happen is Sukhumbhand is red Carded and the Democrats would have to field another candidate, or that those making the comments have made inappropriate comments and Sukhumbhand is yellow carded and will have to run in another election with those found guilty having a slap on the wrist. They also could just approve Sukhumbhand as the governor.

This guy was previously threatening Sukhumband (as per D8), he's a lt Gen in a police force that blatantly prefers one side of the political fence. He's apparently chairman of an non-partisan election panel investigating election fraud but can't hide his glee in announcing a big surprise to be made next week, which is quite obviously a recommendation to disband the Democrat party for slander during the campaign. Do you think the great juggernaut could be any less obvious in their determination to obliterate the opposition. First the DSI, then this. It's as if only one party believes they have a god given right to win elections exclusively.
