Kwanchai doffs his red shirt

Kwanchai Praipana, head of the Khon Rak Udon (People Who Love Udon) faction of the red-shirt United Front for Democracy against Dictatorship (UDD), announced on Monday that he will no longer wear a red shirt at any political activities.

Its ok for red shirts to try to set up a red village anywhere, but its not ok for other factions to set up their own village. I dare you to try to set up a blue village in the north.

I doubt that very much. The man is a die hard Thaksin lackey trying to hide the fractures in the UDD. Or is it personal ? Interesting timing : Thaksin's sister about to become an MP for Chiang Mai.

Disc. 3 - "Now let's hear what the usual red suspects have to say about this. LOL! I can't wait"

    I tried.

"some of them he described as "unorthodox" had gone even further by doing disgraceful things that shamed the parent UDD. "

I wonder if he'd be prepared to go on the stand and explain who, what, where and when.

He should make the new shirt color like 'white shirt' for to represent peace, so that all the color can join and wear white.

It would be interesting to read about the goals of the Khon Rak Udon, UDD, Bangkok red-shirts and UDD members who don’t wear a red shirt.
Just for a start: Please explain if you all support Thaksin and his attempted whitewash and if anyone of you wants to apologize for the red mayhem in Bangkok in 2010.
When we read an apology and an announcement to denounce Thaksin then there might be some hope.

Clearly the Dubai/Amsterdam red village style brainwash is starting to lose its poisonous spell

Interesting and all in all a positive development IMO.

People should not be fooled by this charlatan, especially when he says he welcomes people of other political colors. Kwanchai Praipana has already been convicted of attempted murder in a court of law for organizing an armed mob attack on peaceful Yellow Shirt protesters in Udon Thani in 2008. And of course he's not in prison. Because Thailand is a country of double standards: if you are rich or politically connected you get away with anything, not matter what color shirt you wear.
