Govt takes exhibition flak

The Democrat Party yesterday blasted the government for commissioning the son of the prime minister's chief adviser to organise a 15-million-baht exhibition to promote its infrastructure investment programme. 

During the debate on the bill to borrow 2 trillion baht to finance infrastructure development projects, Democrat list-MP Boonyod Sooktinthai said the government had already spent about 15 million baht from the budget of the Thailand Creative & Design Centre publicising the massive investment scheme.
