Deputy Prime Minister Chalerm Yubamrung yesterday defended the prime minister's transfer of Thawil Pliensri, saying it was normal practice when there was a change in government.
Supporters of Thawil Pliensri, who has won an Administrative Court case ordering the government to reinstate him as National Security Council chief, gather at Government House. They oppose any government plan to appeal against the ruling. CHANAT KATANYU
Mr Chalerm said he saw nothing wrong that Mr Thawil was reassigned when the Yingluck government came to power. A similar shake-up took place at the Foreign Ministry.
