Democrat Party vows to snub forum

- +

The Democrat Party has refused to join the caretaker government's reform forum today, stressing the party is unwilling to be used as "a rubber stamp" for administration.

STICKING HIS NECK OUT: People’s Democratic Reform Committee secretary-general Suthep Thaugsuban leans out from his seat as he listens to academics. They were presenting their views on a ‘people’s council’ and other ideas for national reform at Thammasat University yesterday.

Caretaker Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has assigned caretaker PM's Office Minister Tongthong Chandransu to assemble the forum to find a way to resolve the conflict.
