The Centre for Maintaining Peace and Order (CMPO) is preparing to seek arrest warrants for another 13 leading members of the People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) for violating the emergency decree.

Department of Special Investigation (DSI) chief Tarit Pengdith said yesterday the Criminal Court would be asked to approve arrest warrants for Somkiat Pongpaiboon, Somsak Kosaisuk, Jitrapat Kridakorn, Sakolthi Pattiyakul, Sombat Thamrongthanyawong and Seri Wongmontha. The DSI is also seeking warrants for Thanom Onketpol, Phra Suvit Thongprasert, Savit Kaewwan, Komsat Thongsiri, Suchart Srisang, Dr Ravi Matchamadol and Nopporn Muangthaen.

The DSI chief said the 13 had led protesters to seize government offices in violation of the emergency law, in addition to 19 other PDRC leaders already wanted under arrest warrants.
