Pravit, Paiwong report to NCPO

Two of the people summoned by the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) turned up at the Royal Thai Army auditorium Sunday, reports said.

They are Pravit Rojanaphruk, a senior reporter of The Nation newspaper and a columnist for Prachatai website, and Paiwong Techanarong, owner of the Bonanza Khao Yai Resort.

Pravit was accompanied by a representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Hurman Rights and a team of lawyers, who were present to witness his reporting to the NCPO.

Apart from Pravit and Mr Paiwong, six other people were also to report to the NCPO by 11am today. They are Janya Sawangchit, Chayen Khamnuan, Pichit Chuenban, Kanchana Honghern, Natchanan Kruachai and Wimolrat Kuldilok.
