The National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) on Tuesday night relaxed the six-day old nationwide curfew by three hours, announcing a new curfew order will be enforced from midnight to 4am, effective Wednesday.
The previous curfew, from 10pm to 5am, was ordered on the day of the coup d'etat, May 22.
The change came after widespread complaints about upsets to business, normal life and hardship for tourists.
