Banharn admitted to hospital

Banharn Silpa-archa, chief adviser of the Chartthaipattana Party and former prime minister, was admitted to Ramathibodhi Hospital on Sunday night and released early Monday morning, Manager Online reported on Monday, quoting hospital director Dr Surasak Leela-udomlipi.

Dr Surasak confirmed that Mr Banharn had been admitted to the hospital, after earlier confusing reports.

Dr Surasak said Mr Banharn was admitted to Ramathibodi Hospital on Sunday night after experiencing symptoms of exhaustion.  Mr Banharn had safely recovered and left the hospital this morning.

It was reported that Mr Banharn decided to leave the hospital early to preside over the laying of a foundation stone for a pagoda at the shrine of Suphan Buri City Pillar scheduled for 9.15am.
