Pol Lt Gen Pongpat Chayaphan, chief of the Central Investigation Bureau, and his deputy, Pol Maj Gen Kowit Wongrungroj, have been transferred to the Royal Thai Police Office.

The transfer order, signed Nov 11 by national police chief Pol Gen Somyot Pumpunmuang, took effect immediately.
Under the order, Pol Lt Gen Pongpat and CIB deputy chief Pol Maj Gen Kowit will assist work at the PTPO until there is a new order regarding their duties. They no longer hold any positions at the CIB. They were ordered to report to the RTPO at 10am on Wednesday.
