Mr Borwornsak said Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva already accepted the invitation and would share his opinions with the committee on Nov 24. Phra Buddha Isara will do the same on Thursday. The abbot of Wat Or Noi in Nakhon Pathom province led protests against the past government of Yingluck Shinawatra before the May 22 coup.

Regarding media reports that the Pheu Thai Party would refuse to share its views on charter drafting, Mr Borwornsak said he would like the former governing party to contribute to the drafting process and its participation would create a good atmosphere.

Mr Borwornsak also said he would form a sub-committee on which young people could be members and have their say in the charter drafting after the Youth Network sought a role for its members to participate in the constitution-drafting process,
