Govt 3-month work report on Dec 25

The government will deliver a statement in parliament outlining its activities and achievements during the past three months on Dec 25, government spokesman Yongyuth Mayalarp said on Monday.

Mr Yongyuth said the government will also announce some "New Year gifts".

All ministries were now preparing their reports covering the three months September-October-November.

Their reports will be submitted to the Office of the Government Spokesman at the Prime Minister's Office before being fowarded to the deputy prime ministers in charge of the respective ministries, to prepare their own statements.

Mr Yongyuth said his office had so far received reports from Justice, Foreign Affairs, Culture and Tourism, and Sports ministries.

On Dec 25, Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha will deliver a statement on the government's overall work.  After that, the deputy prime ministers will take about 10 minutes each to deliver their reports.
