Pheu Thai man reports to 1st Army

Singthong Buachum, a Pheu Thai Party member, reported to the National Council for Peace and Order's(NCPO) peacekeeping force on Tuesday morning, respondng to an invitation by Lt Gen Kampanart Ruddit, the 1st Army commander.

Lt Gen Kampanart, who is commander of the peacekeeping force, invited Mr Singthong for a meeting after the Pheu Thai Party member posted a message on his Facebook page saying the NCPO had asked former prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra not to hold a press conference after she was impeached by the National Legislative Assembly on Jan 23.

He had also said this in press interviews.

Mr Singthong arrived at the 1st Army headquarters at 10.30am and was told to leave his car at the Royal Plaza.  From there, he was whisked into the 1st Army compound in a military jeep.
