Former deputy prime ministers Pridiyathorn Devakula and Yongyuth Yuthavong have been dropped from the National Council for Peace and Order's advisory committee, effective from Oct 1 this year.
Under an NCPO order dated May 26, 2014, MR Pridiyathorn was appointed deputy advisory chairman and Mr Yongyuth adviser of the NCPO.

A new NCPO order dated Nov 24, 2015 signed by Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha, removes the two men from the committee, effective retroactively from Oct 1.
Instead, Amnuay Patise, a former deputy agriculture and cooperatives minister, was appointed to the committee.
The NCPO's advisory committee now comprises nine members: Gen Prawit Wongsuwon, the advisory chairman, Gen Anupong Paojinda, Somkid Jatusripitak, Narongchai Akrasanee, Wissanu Krea-ngam, Amnuay Patise, ACM Itthaporn Supawong, Gen Noppadol Inthapanya and Gen Dapong Rattanasuwan.
