Chiang Mai Zoo introduces Red-Shanked Doucs

Chiang Mai Zoo has been busy preparing for the introduction of three red-shanked douc monkeys.
Thanapat Pong-amorn, Director of Chiang Mai Zoo, said the zoo has received one male and two female monkeys from Dusit Zoo, Bangkok.
Mr Thanapat said the red shanked doucs are very beautiful and colourful animals with colours on its body - grey on its body and head, blackish red on the forehead, white on the beard, tail and bottom, yellow on the cheeks, and red on its shins.
