Finnish diver reports being raped on Koh Lipe

PHUKET: A Finnish woman on a scuba diving course on Koh Lipe, Satun province, reported being raped last Thursday night (August 23).

After she reported the assault to police, they sent the 34-year-old victim to hospital in Satun town for examination, Manager online reported.

Police said the victim told them she had been drinking beer on Thursday evening with three friends, about 500 metres from where she was staying.
