PHUKET: A 20-year-old Thai man claimed on Monday (August 27) that he was beaten by five Thalang police on August 22, in an attempt to force him to tell them the location of a house from which he had bought drugs.

Prapaporn Waharak was charged with possession of drugs for sale after police found 2.47 grams of ya-ice on him when he was searched in Baan Ao Por with other two men.

He told media that he was not a dealer; just a user, but admitted the charge. After that police should not have beaten him up, he argued.
