Police rushed to a 4-storey apartment block in Sukhumvit 87 after hearing that a pile of bones had turned up on the top terrace.  Police at the scene were unable to determine if the remains were of human or animal origin and sent them for forensic investigation.  A resident of the block Mr Chokchai said he inte nded to sunbathe on the roof terrace but was horrified to make the ossified discovery.  Another resident Ms Nongnooch Yeesing said that a Thai man aged 40 and his two infant daughters had stayed there two years previously and there was a mystery about the girls and what had happened to them.  This clue will be brought to the attention of the forensic investigators who will examine the bones.
