  • German tourist in death leap

    02 May 2013 : Sawangboriboon volunteers and a Pattaya Memorial Hospital team rushed to Central Festival Pattaya Beach after learning that German national Christian Klaski had climbed over a rail on the fifth floor and jumped to the ground. He died later in hospital having sustained serious head injuries. A security guard alerted police. The 34-year-old victim was identified from a police report in his possession concerning a lost passport.

  • Motorbike thieves idled

    01 May 2013 :

    Nongprue police have arrested five suspected members of a motorbike theft gang and confiscated nine stolen bikes, various spare parts and a collection of illegal methamphetamine tablets. All of the gang members reportedly pleaded guilty. However, the gang ringleader, known as Thanasak, escaped the police dragnet and is being hunted down.

  • Student drug dealer caught in sting

    18 Apr 2013 : Concerned about college of technology students involved in selling prohibited substances, police used an undercover agent to arrange to meet 25 year old Thongchai Wiansamut outside a petrol station in Banglamung. Regular police then seized the suspect who took police to his home where they found 200 gms of the ice drug in six sealed plastic bags.

    18 Apr 2013 : A sixteen year old was beaten and stabbed near Soi 6, Pattaya Beach Road, after a drinking party with his uncle and three young women who elected to join them.

    18 Apr 2013 : An inebriated senior security guard hit on a panic plan after bludgeoning to death one of his staff.

    18 Apr 2013 : A large crowd gathered at Soi 12, South Pattaya, after learning that a man had been stabbed to death.

  • Huge debts lead to suicide

    18 Apr 2013 : Police rushed to an apartment near the Thepprasit Road boxing stadium after receiving reports that a man had been found with a hole in his face. Songla Ninkampheng, aged 66, was discovered in a very bloody state with an 11mm handgun lying nearby.

  • Nongprue police station upgraded

    18 Apr 2013 : The regional police commander of region two formally opened Nongprue police station at a ceremony to mark its establishment as a full police station rather than an ancillary unit of Banglamung police authority.
