Deputy police chief Srivara Ransibrahmanakul on Wednesday applied to the military court for arrest warrants for three unnamed men suspected of planting bombs in Hua Hin district, Prachuap Khiri Khan, on Aug 10.

Pol Gen Srivara took police artists' sketches and other relevant information in the case to the military court in Phetchaburi province, adjacent to Prachuap Khiri Khan, to seek the warrants.

The suspects are wanted for two bombings on Selakam Road and two more at the Hua Hin clock tower on Aug 11 and 12. Two people were killed and 25 others injured.

A firebomb was also planted at Hua Hin's Chatchai market but did not explode.

Police said the investigation report into the Hua Hin explosions was 70% complete. It included surveillance camera footage showing the faces of the three male suspects, seen in Hua Hin on Aug 10 and believed to have escaped to the South.
