The Centre for the Resolution of the Emergency Situation (CRES) has resolved to step up security measures by keeping 464 spots in the capital prone to attack under watch round the clock, Pol Maj-Gen Piya Uthayo said on Friday.
Pol Maj-Gen Piya, the metropolitan police spokesman, said personnel to be deployed for security will be drawn from the 1st Army Region, Metropolitan Police Bureau and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.
Under a special operational plan adopted by the CRES, the 464 spots are grouped in three security levels. They are:
