THAI jet clear after bomb message found in toilet
US authorities have cleared a Thai Airways International aircraft which was subject to a bomb hoax to return to Bangkok after they found no evidence of explosives on board.
The departure of flight TG795, on a non-stop trip from Los Angeles to Bangkok, was delayed yesterday by just over two hours from the original schedule of 11.20pm to 1.45am (Los Angeles time).
The four-engine, long-range A340-500 was cleared as ''clean'' for departure from Los Angeles International Airport after US investigators conducted a thorough search of the plane, THAI executives said.
