Suspected rebels kill 3, torch bodies in car

Three people have been killed in a suspected insurgent attack in Pattani's Thung Yang Daeng district.

Police inspect a burnt-out Nissan sedan found yesterday afternoon in a roadside ditch in Pattani’s Thung Yang Daeng district. Three bodies were found in the vehicle. ABDULLOH BENJAKAT

Thung Yang Daeng police were alerted about 4pm yesterday that three bodies had been found torched in a burnt-out Nissan sedan in a roadside ditch in Bakhae village of tambon Phithen.

    Yes Tommylee, my reaction also,

    This is not the first time that people on bail have been involved again down South.

    Also note the fact that two of the arrested people in the arrest shoot out were defence volunteers and it adds more detail to the picture of a disjointed and out of control effort where no one from PM to the Army or Police chiefs are responsible for anything.

    In the South there are innocent teachers and people are being killed by the rebels almost everyday but they are most interested in the 4.6 square kilometers of dirt at the Cambodia border. Why are they not sending the tanks to the south instead of to the Cambodia border? Nobody seems to care what is going on to the south. It’s sad.
