Villager shot, wounded in Yala

A villager was shot and seriously injured in Yala’s Krong Penang district on Sunday morning, police said.

Mamu Daeha, 40, was standing in front of his house in Moo 3, tambon Yupo in Krong Penang when a gunman fired on him three times with a .38mm pistol. The assailant then fled, according to police.

Mr Mamu took one bullet in his body and was admitted to Yala hospital.
