Army chief says insurgents want international spotlight

An attack on a naval outpost in Pattani, and another on reinforcement soldiers on their way to the camp, could have been an attempt to bring the insurgency to the international stage, army chief Prayuth Chan-ocha said.

On Sunday, six soldiers were met with a bomb blast and an ambush while travelling to assist their comrades at a 26th Pattani Special Task Force outpost which was under attack in Sai Buri district.

Gen Prayuth said the ambush could be part of a separatist plot to draw the international community's attention to problems in the Muslim-dominated provinces of the deep South.

It is extremely hard to believed that the authorities does not or have no clue as to the where about
of the armed militants ! So we anticipate more innocent lives to be lost and still counting !! Life
    is cheap !!!

    Oh really , you think.

K Prayuth khup. After 5000 murders, trust me ,people outside Thailand are aware of Southern Thailand.

I think the real problem is that people inside Thailand are not aware or don't care.
