SOUTH SHOOTING
The government may pay the same compensation to families of four Muslims shot dead by military rangers in Pattani as paid to those of red shirt protesters if investigation results show the rangers shot them mistakenly.
Defence Minister Sukumpol Suwanatat yesterday said: "If the investigation results showed we were wrong, we will be ready to admit it."
On compensation for victims of the shooting, agencies concerned and the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Centre will discuss it today.
