A woman was shot dead and her son and husband seriously wounded in a drive-by shooting in Pattani yesterday.

Sakina Phithak, 35, was shot and killed by attackers who sprayed bullets at her car, driven by her husband Kode Liheng, 40, on Road 42 that links Narathiwat and Pattani in Sai Buri district.

Their son Affan Liheng, who was also in the car, and Mr Kode were both badly wounded.

Elsewhere is this edition we have a scathing attack on rangers for shooting innocent civilians.

I suggest if that author Khun Kong, wants to make a point how about investigating the daily atrocities in Southern Thailand.

Investigate for example how this poor family prepared for the day and then happened to arrive at the spot where people were waiting to shoot anyone or so it seems.

Look at the murderers preparation to kill that day and most importantly figure out whats it all about?
