My condolences to the family of defence volunteer Somsuk Phuphasuk. Too often we read about these brave people being murdered by terrorists that it's become commonplace to see these articals in the Bangkok Post.
People like Somsuk Phuphasuk are the true heroes of Thailand, and I sincerely hope that the government offers compensation to his family that is par with what they gave red shirt families who lost their sons, husbands, and fathers during the burning of Bangkok disturbances in 2010. That isn't asking too much.
