Police nab suspect for airport blast

Police yesterday arrested a man suspected of being involved in the Aug 7 motorcycle bomb attack near Narathiwat provincial airport.
A 100-strong team of marines, police and local officials yesterday mounted raids on locations in tambon Khorlae and tambon Boroh Tai in Bacho district after a tip-off that insurgents involved in the southern unrest were hiding there.
Suspected insurgent member Assan Sama, 23, a native of Bacho district, was arrested during the raid, said police.
