A man and a teenager were gunned down and a homemade landmine detonated, blowing off a boy's leg, in Narathiwat province yesterday morning.
Makam Jehmae, 27, and Beedee Mareh, 17, of Ban Kayae village in Chanae district were shot in the head and died in front of Makam's Nissan car on a local road in tambon Chanae about 9.30am yesterday.
Each of the victims was shot once, possibly with a pistol, and their hands were tied behind their backs with their own shirts. Police found evidence of a struggle but did not find any spent shells.
