One night I went across the border into Malaysia with friends of mine from Narathiwat. We drove around Kota Bharu all night just looking around and stopping to eat and stuff. My friends commented how nice it was to be able to do that, because if we drove around Narathiwat at night like this somebody would shoot us. And it's true.

I hope the government will someday care about the south and find a way to make peace. It's lovely down here but everyone is always afraid for their lives. It's a damn shame.

It is evident that the Bangkok Government and Military are not able to control a large part of Thailand anymore unfortunately the Islamist took over and the Bangkok people don't know what to do. All this stuff could be finished relatively quick but the current people on power don't have the intellectual capabilities to handle this, poor Thailand.

Dear BP how about at least using the victims names as a mark of respect.
