Significant success for the military after so many set backs. The insurgents wanton killings and disruption of normal lives have caused lost support with their sympatizers and the military is tapping into this source of intelligence. The insurgents attack in company size may be mis-calculation of their strength and intelligence. If the government is to negotiate, they should do that at position of strength. Just hope this signal a critical watershed for the south problems and that the military is finally getting the upper hand.

Instead of catching the Marines by surprise, this bunch of overconfident terrorists walked into an ambush, and was appropriately "received," thanked to the crucial INTEL. This is an excellent example of how INTEL can make a huge difference between victory or defeat. I congratulate the Military Intelligent personnels who has obtained this crucial INTEL. I hope the Military promotes them appropriately, and please, keep up the good work. Looking back, this is how TS made the most serious mistake when he abolished the Independent Intel Agency, which had been able to win and keep the peace in the Deep South for so long.

This will certainly be a demoralizer to the rebels. I salute those brave marines. But,
For those of you who condone violence to be the reciprocal answer, I ask you to please think again. We should learn from the past masters at getting results without violence.
Please read these two quotes from Mahatma Ghandi, who is universally known for his violent free methods of getting victorious results.

“An eye for an eye will only make the whole world blind.”

“I object to violence because when it appears to do good, the good is only temporary; the evil it does is permanent.”
