Thai soldier steps on border landmine

A Thai soldier was severely injured when he stepped on and triggered a landmine while on patrol along the Thai-Cambodian border near Preah Vihear temple in Kantharalak district of Si Sa Ket on Thursday morning, reports said.

He was identified as Pvt Pichit Khamsomboon of Infantry Company 131 of the Suranaree Task Force.

The soldier suffered serious injuries to both legs and was rushed to Sappasithiprasong Military Hospital in Ubon Ratchathani for treatment.

    But it is sure this mine had not been removed otherwise how can this soldier
    get injured ??? ok my english is not so god .But this I don"t understand.

    Make sure all the solders patrol on the same track or they will lost their legs even lives as there are alot of sleeping mines over there.
