A centre to process all forensic evidence from bomb attacks in the far South will soon be up and running, Rapassakul Rodthip, deputy spokesperson of the Internal Security Operations Command (Isoc) says.
The new centre will be ready within the current fiscal year, she said yesterday, but declined to give an exact date.
The centre will come under Isoc's forward command in the far South. It will examine forensic evidence gathered from all bombings in the border provinces and compile reports to be presented in court. The aim is to make evidence gathering and examination more efficient.
