Four soldiers were seriously injured by a bomb explosion on a road in Thepha district of Songkhla province on Saturday morning, reports said.
The bomb explosion occurred on a road in front of a mosque in Ban Nikhom Thepha, tambon Tha Muang of Thepha district when soldiers were patrolling along the local road, according to the reports.
Pvt Abyuth Dorrawtae, Pvt Phisuth Inprom, Pvt Rattanachote Rattana and Pvt Suthichai Buathong were critically wounded. They were taken to Thepha hospital.
Police blamed separatist militants.
