No one hurt in Pattani blast

No injuries were reported at a bomb exploded on a road in Pattani's Sai Buri district on Sunday morning. The bomb was believed to be targeting a vehicle carrying rangers, police said.

The incident occurred at about 10am on a road near Ban Kayo Mati in tambon Taping of Sai Buri. While a pick-up truck carrying four rangers from Ranger Company 4413 was running over the spot, the bomb was detonated.

The bomb exploded shortly after the vehicle passed over it, causing no damage or casualties. The explosion left a hole two metres in diameter in the road.
