Militants attacked two police living quarters in the compound of Bacho district police station in Narathiwat province, damaging them with grenades, on Monday night, police said.

The attack occurred about 9.30pm.

Two grenades - one an M67 and the other home-made - were hurled at the living quarters of Pol L/Cpl Pannakij Srinakijja.  The twin explosions damaged a part of the wooden building used for storage.

Another grenade - made of a PVC pipe - was thrown at the house of Pol L/Cpl Sayam Temteh.  The kitchen and utensils were damaged by the explosion.

Nobody was hurt in the attacks.
