Malaysia's Defence Minister Dato Seri Hishammuddin Bin Tun Hussein will pay an official visit to Thailand on Jan 28-30, defence spokesman Kongcheep Tantrawanich said on Sunday.
Col Kongcheep said the Malaysian defence minister will pay a courtesy call on Gen Prawit Wongsuwon, the deputy prime minister and defence minister, on Jan 29.
After that he will attend the Thai-Malaysian General Border Committee at the army club on Vibhavadi Rangsit road.
The meeting will discuss cooperation to solve border problems and Malaysia's role to help solve problems in Thailand's southern border provinces, the spokesman said.
