Bumrah grabs four wickets as Zimbabwe collapse in 3rd India ODI

HARARE - Seamer Jasprit Bumrah grabbed four quick wickets as another catastrophic batting collapse by Zimbabwe presented India with a simple target to wrap up a one-day international series whitewash at Harare Sports Club on Wednesday.

India's Jasprit Bumrah took four wickets as Zimbabwe were bowled out for 123 in the third one-day international in Harare

Zimbabwe were building steadily on 104 for three when Bumrah came back for his second spell, the home side collapsing to 123 all out in 42.2 overs as the fast bowler finished with 4-22 in 10 overs.

Zimbabwe made five changes to the team that was bowled out for 126 in the second match of the series but there was no improvement in performance.

Vusi Sibanda gave Zimbabwe a decent start with his 38 after they had won the toss and elected to bat on a bare pitch, but once again the innings fell apart in the middle overs.

Sibanda offered a tame return catch to legspinner Yuzvendra Chahal, and Bumrah dismissed Timycen Maruma and Elton Chigumbura in consecutive deliveries.

The next over saw Malcolm Waller run out and Graeme Cremer trapped lbw by his first delivery, meaning that Zimbabwe had lost four wickets in four deliveries.

In all they lost their last seven wickets for 19 runs, echoing their batting on Monday when they lost six for 20 to lose by eight wickets.
