Bangkok United host SCG Muang Thong United tomorrow in a crunch game that could have a strong bearing on the two sides' campaigns for this year's Thai League title.

Leaders Muang Thong, who are desperate to bounce back from a 3-1 loss to Ratchaburi last week, have a few worries for the match at Thammasat Stadium where they will be without key defender Tristan Do.

Bangkok United, who enjoyed a 2-0 victory over Super Power Samut Prakan last week, are only three points behind the leaders and a win in tomorrow's clash will put them on level terms with the Kirins.

Muang Thong coach Totchtawan Sripan said: "We will be without Tristan who has been suspended for two matches after being sent off last week and this means we will have to change our tactics.

"We might have a weak defence in the game against Bangkok United because defenders Mario Abrante and Naoaki Aoyama are both struggling to be fit as well.

"It is an important match and it is an away game. But if we are to win this year's league title, we have to win both at home and away."

Bangkok United assistant coach Watsapol Kaewpluek said: "Muang Thong are a good and strong team. They have many Thai internationals. However, this is our chance to make the push for the top spot and we will be going full steam ahead for a win."

Bangkok United won 3-2 at SCG Stadium earlier this season.

In today's matches, Chonburi take on Chainat and the former's media director Jeerasak Chomthong ruled out South Korean Kim Jong-Pil's participation in the match.

He said: "We have to forget our disappointing elimination from the League Cup [on Wednesday] where we were knocked out by Si Sa Ket and get on with our bid to improve our standing in the Thai League."

In another big match, Suphanburi take on struggling defending champions Buriram United at home this evening.
