RIO DE JANEIRO - A pre-Olympics projection by the US-based Associated Press news agency predicts Thai athletes will return from Rio 2016 with six medals - but no gold.
The agency gave no sources or methodology on how it picked the medal winners in every Olympic sport.

Meanwhile, the website OlympicMedalsPredictions.com says Thailand will end up with three medals - a gold, by light welterweight boxer Wuttichai Masuk, a silver by skeet shooter Sutiya and, like the AP, a bronze by taekwondo fighter Panipak.
