LONDON - Rampant Exeter scored eight tries as they thrashed Worcester 57-22 at Sandy Park on Saturday to extend their fine run in the English Premiership.

Jack Yeandle, Will Chudley, Olly Woodburn, Carl Rimmer, Thomas Waldrom, James Short and Ian Whitten all crossed for Exeter tries, while the home side were also awarded a penalty try.

Exeter move to within a point of the top four after back-to-back bonus point wins.

Gareth Steenson slotted over six conversions as well as an early penalty, with Joe Simmonds adding the extras to the final try from Whitten after taking over the kicking duties.

Worcester scored three late tries, through Josh Adams, Wynand Olivier and Dewald Potgeiter, but Exeter had already run up 45 points before they got the first of them.

Jamie Shillcock scored the remainder of the Warriors points with a penalty and two conversions as Worcester suffered a fourth successive Premiership defeat.
