At the end of a long, tough and wet Sepang 12 Hours, Thailand's Pasin Lathouras was pleased to finish fourth overall in his AF Corse Ferrari 488 GT3.

The result concluded the 23-year-old driver's racing season which started at Monza, Italy, in April with the opening round of the Blancpain GT Endurance Series.

He wrapped up the year with two Asian races at the FIA GT World Cup in Macau in November and the Sepang 12 Hours last weekend.

Pasin returned to the Malaysian F1 circuit three years after his participation in the 2013 Sepang 12 Hours as his career has since taken him out of Asia and into Europe.

At the 2016 Sepang 12 Hours, he once again raced alongside his teammates in Blancpain GT this year -- Michele Rugolo and Alessandro Pier Guidi.

The track has been resurfaced and reprofiled since his last visit and Pasin quickly got back in the groove.

In wet conditions, Pasin and his teammates finished fourth overall.

Pasin said: "It was great to be back at Sepang after a few years away. I raced here a lot earlier in my career and I love the circuit. That's the same story for the Sepang 12 Hours. It was my third time in the event and it's a great race always with a challenge. This year was no different with tricky conditions for pretty much half of the race.

"I think it was a good way to end the year, although of course it would have been nice to get onto the podium, but I'm happy with the result and pleased with my pace."
