Pattaya: South Korea's Amy Yang takes a four-shot lead into today's final day of the weather-interrupted Honda LPGA Thailand following a marathon day yesterday.

Yang, the 2014 champion, has five holes left in her third round which was suspended due to darkness at 6.21pm with 28 golfers still to finish their rounds.

The third round at Siam Country Club will resume at 7am today with the final round scheduled to begin at 9.38am. The final group is scheduled to go off at 11.50am.

Yang played 31 holes yesterday -- 18 in the second round and 13 in the third -- and has a total of 17-under par.

She is four strokes in front of compatriot Ryu So-Yeon who is on 13-under 203 after completing three rounds.

"My shot was good. I'm hitting good all week," Yang said. "Tomorrow again I'll have to finish the third round. I'll try to do just one shot at a time, hole by hole."

South Korea's Kim Sei-Young, with five holes left in her third round, and England's Jodi Ewart Shadoff, who has played 17 holes in the third round, are 11-under.

Sisters Ariya and Moriya Jutanugarn are joint fifth on 10-under along with South Korea's Chella Choi and Feng Shanshan of China. They all have to finish their third rounds today.

"It's OK today although I made some mistakes," said world No.2 Ariya.

The sisters will be trying to become the first Thai to win the country's premier women's golf tournament which was launched in 2006.

Defending champion Lexi Thompson from the US is on eight-under with two holes to play in the third round.

World No.1 Lydia Ko was tied for 15th on seven-under with Lee Mi-Rim of South Korea and American Angela Stanford. Ko and Lee have completed three rounds.

"It's not easy playing out there, playing 30 holes to start with, but to play in this heat," said Ko who shot a four-under-par 68 in the third round.

"As the weather was coming in, it was getting more humid, which is normal, but we finished and finished well with all of us [in her group] birdieing the last.

"I knew at the start of the day it was going to be a tough one, not only physically but also mentally.

"It was a long day, but I was able to make a little bit of birdies and that helped the scorecard.

"[It's going to be] a lot of sleep, a lot of food, and a lot of water."
